We're proud to be recruiting for one of the area's ambitious and continuously growing Top 200 UK law firms, which has an opportunity to join as a Corporate/Commercial Partner. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Solicitor from Senior Associate to Partner level to join this highly successful Corporate Commercial team in either their Taunton or Exeter office. Their team have a varied and interesting caseload with high quality clients, undertaking fee-earning work on both corporate and commercial client matters, assisting with the current workload whilst playing a key role in developing and expanding the departments’ client base. You will also assist with managing and developing the team, including assisting with effective supervision of and delegation to team members.
In addition to looking for someone with a corporate commercial expertise, we are looking for a team player who values every member of the team and wider firm and their contribution to the success of this firm, which has the benefit of being a larger firm but who pride themselves on having maintained the flexibility, collaborative nature and welcoming environment of a smaller firm.
Skills and experience sought:
- An experienced and qualified Corporate/Commercial Lawyer, ideally already at Senior Associate or Partner level
- PQE level is taken into account, but the firm has an approach based more on output and expertise over just purely PQE level
- A credible and ambitious approach, who can get involved with business development activities
