We're proud to be recruiting for one of the area's ambitious and continuously growing law firms, which has an opportunity to join the firm as a Senior Associate Solicitor / Lawyer within their highly regarded Property Litigation team. This is a great opportunity to join this Top 200 UK law firm, working within a team which focuses on all elements of property dispute matters. This role can be either worked from one of the firm's modern and commercial feeling offices in the Southwest, or it could possibly be worked remote. The role will involve managing a complex caseload and advising clients on a wide range of property disputes, including landlord and tenant issues, dilapidations and boundary disputes, service charge disputes, lease renewal, property insolvency and commercial rent recovery. Whether you’re currently working as a property litigation lawyer looking for a step up into a Senior Associate level role, or you’re already a successful Senior Associate looking for an exciting new challenge, we would be very interested in discussing this role with you further. This role would suit someone who is ambitious, pro-active, and enthusiastic, with great interpersonal skills. You will have excellent property disputes experience with business development and networking skills to match. The right candidate will have a growth mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture.
Responsibilities and matters to include:
- Commercial property disputes; breach of lease, rent arrears claims, forfeiture,
- Disputes over breach of covenant, dilapidations claims,
- Easements and rights of way disputes, Adverse Possession claims and party wall and boundary disputes
- Residential Property disputes; landlord and tenant disputes, leasehold enfranchisement, restrictive covenant breaches, Farming Partnership disputes, property ownership disputes (including TOLATA)
Skills and experience sought:
- An experienced and qualified Property Litigation Lawyer, ideally already at Associate or Senior Associate level
- Experience of dealing with a wide range of property disputes
- A credible and ambitious approach, who can get involved with business development activities
