Aspiria Recruit are pleased to be supporting one of Devon's top regional law firms, who are looking to hire an experienced Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive to work within their Wealth Management team in Exeter. Working as part of a larger Private Client team, we are considering applications from both experienced private client lawyers as well as more junior qualified lawyers, who might also have (or be working towards) their STEP qualification. The ideal candidate will have a focus on administration of testate and intestate estates. The work will also include a mix of taxable and non-taxable estates and will be capable of managing every element of the estate administration process effectively and independently. You will also be preparing Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney as and when needed, although this will not be your main focus of work. The role will involve working closely with the partner leading the Estates Team, as well as the partners in the broader Wealth Management Team. Supervision of more junior members of the Estates Team will form part of your responsibilities with the team.
Skills and experience required:
- Ideally looking for an experienced Private Client Lawyer, but would also consider candidates with a minimum of 1 PQE
- The ability to lead from within
- A "can do" approach and a positive attitude
- Confident and outgoing manner and strong communication skills
